Product Features

Heat treatment is the most critical process for high strength nuts. Grade DH heavy hex nuts shall be heat treated by quenching in a liquid medium from a temperature above the transformation temperature and tempering at a temperature of at least 800. ASTM A563 Gr DH heavy hex nuts shall be marked with the grade DH and a symbol to identify the manufacturer. Marks for ASTM A563 Gr DH heavy hex nuts may be raised or depressed at the option of the manufacturer and customer. However, if markings are located on the bearing surface, they shall be depressed.
